Three posters were designed for the February 8th reunion show. An attempt to use Old Hollywood atmosphere as a backdrop, caused indecision among those making the decision. All versions were printed in a handbill size as samples. Eventually consensus made BS poster #4 the one. 250 #4 posters were printed.
In 2002, ZenithPointStudios took the 3 originals and made a limited run of digital reproductions. Original #4 resales are about $1250. While reproduction #4 sells around $400. #3 and #5 are a bit more pricey at nearly $600.
The 901 club sold only one food item. A hamburger, with or without grilled onions. Mustard & ketchup packets were available. But it was the best in LA. Food service was suspended when bands played. So between sets there was a mad scramble to get an order in with one of the bar maids. No fries, no onion rings, no chips.
Even without a show, members of the band would eat at the club quite often.
Bogus Slogan has been rockin’ the world for over half a century. Springing from the Surf, Psychedelic, Garage of the Southern California 60s, the band has released over 3 dozen albums and toured America & the World extensively.
