Bogus Slogan Poster Series

Creating concert posters for Bogus Slogan begins with the band’s management sending a list of dates and locations for the upcoming tour.  ZenithPointStudio will design a general tour poster that can be used anywhere and everywhere to promote shows and ticket sales.  Even today these ‘all playdate’ posters can be bought by the public through internet sales.

The Bogus Slogan Poster Series showcases individual venues where requests were made for added promotional materials.  Orders came from the band itself, management, promoters, venues.  The posters were not for sale, but rather for information, advertisement or as a souvenir.  No one thought there would be an aftermarket.

Productions costs were paid by ZenithPointStudio.  Payment to the studio came from a .5% ‘royalty’ of all merchandise sales at each show where a poster was used. Sometimes ZenithPointStudio received a huge royalty check and sometimes not so much.

Using a VidCap from the MGM movie ‘Hell Below” (1933) we can see Seaman Jenks (Sterling Holloway) about to die from a chorine leak aboard a submarine.  He should have been at the Desert Rim Auditorium where the AC kept all the bad air outside.

Bogus Slogan has been rockin’ the world for over  half a century. Springing from the Surf, Psychedelic, Garage of the Southern California 60s, the band has released over 3 dozen albums and toured America & the World extensively.

Bogus Slogan uses artists, Illustrators and graphic designers from all over the world. ZenithPointStudio is proud to present many of the posters famed studio has done on behalf of the band.

ZenitPointstudio creates photos, graphics, illustrations and music for the entertainment of people.
