Bogus Slogan Poster
Bogus Slogan Poster #00069 - Inside View
When technology falls into obsolence, we can only hope we can remove its remaining presence without outrageous cost. Same with musical instruments. Guitars and drums can last forever, but the digital recreations machines available no longer sound strange. They can, sound dated.
Bogus Slogan tries to not be a collector. Used keyboards, computers, and any thing that has fallen from use is passed on to someone else who can use it. Everything item that is abandoned is signed by a band member. Some items became very valuable memorabilia for collectors of the group. BS enables another industry.
From the poster for the Billings, Montana show at the Club Tears, we can see 3 technologies that are falling into the past. Railroad steam engines. The adventure youth magazine. The internal combustion engine. Should we collect and preserve these “lost” worlds? Build museums and libraries to store and display? Or accept our future of change – magnetic levitation, virtual reality glasses, artificial intelligence overlords – and stop remembering our past?
Bogus Slogan has been rockin’ the world for over half a century. Springing from the Surf, Psychedelic, Garage of the Southern California 60s, the band has released over 3 dozen albums and toured America & the World extensively.
Bogus Slogan uses artists, Illustrators and graphic designers from all over the world. ZenithPointStudio is proud to present many of the posters famed studio has done on behalf of the band.
